Once Narad asked Lord Narayana, where do you live? Do you live in Vaikunt Dham, in the hearts of your beloved devotes, or where? Lord Narayana said, "I live where people sing bhajans from the depth of their hearts". This is how we sang today at Satsang organized at Shalu and Kanishka's place.
The session started a bit late, for the Puja materials came a little late. Aruna ji then did the Guru Puja. She told that Guru Puja comes out of Gratefulness, out of Love for the Supreme Knowledge, that we are getting from our Master. We Pranama to all the Great Rishi's and Swami's of all times, who passed on this highest knowledge of Self Realization, in its purest form. As the Guru Pooja went through, it took us from all the external happenings to deep within, a state of meditation. I never know when did Bhajans' started and involved everybody to singing and chanting as a wave. Singing is a way of getting unbound happiness, taking us away from all the worries, and settles our mind to a state of ultimate peace. I realized that I was there, only when Kanishka asked all of us to join the Guided Meditation. Meditation expanded our happiness to the whole space around, for the whole world.
Finally we sang "Sagar mein ek Laher Uthi Tere naam ki" for Sridhar becoming a proud father recently.
Time came for the delicious food, cooked by Shalu with so much of love and care. She was caring enough to even pack the food for those in hurry. Every body was enjoying the food and mingling with other people. It felt like that the party should never end.
Guru ji says, "Satsang increases awareness and a sense of belongingness".
Truely we experienced.
Let this knowledge bring more awareness, and happiness to everybody in this world.
